Richmond, meet Bar Buoy — Chef Brittanny Anderson’s fresh, seafood-forward concept now open in Scott’s Addition. Drawing on her Northern Neck roots and her family’s legacy of watermen, Bar Buoy is a playful, warm nod to the Chesapeake: think oysters, crabcakes (steamed or pan), fried flounder, shellfish, and coastal snacks.

The space itself feels like your favorite marina hangout — vintage cans, sea-green accents, nostalgic design touches — all created by Studio Tarea and Gamut Studio.

Sip on “boat drinks,” Orange Crushes, or playful cocktails like buttered popcorn rum & Coke. Plus, beer and nonalcoholic sodas round out the lineup.
